Lisa is a former lifeguard, swim instructor, pool manager, swimming school manager, and Safety coordinator for Nucor Rebar Fabrication in San Diego, CA. She has been teaching and training in various areas of safety and lifesaving since 1987.
After surviving a rare type of heart attack known as S.C.A.D. in 2021, she decided to use her second chance at life to
'pay it forward'.
Now, she enjoys teaching others essential lifesaving skills, to help them save the life of a loved one, themselves, or a stranger.
Additionally, she is passionate about supporting group fundraising initiatives, by providing mobile CPR / AED and First Aid training in the community.
